In a time when society’s focus is on the next new fad, a place exists where tradition and history remain paramount.  Past the lights and sounds of the Reno gaming district, and beyond the granite edifices of the state capital buildings in Carson City, lies a valley rich with its history of Native Americans, homesteaders, and cattle ranching.  A cornerstone to that history can be found on Dressler Way in the Carson Valley. The Dressler Ranch, founded nearly 150 years ago can be seen as a microcosm of Nevada’s heritage of family ranching.
