Sierra Nevada Journeys (SNJ) is seeking a PR or Advertising intern from the Donald W. Reynolds School of Journalism to join SNJ’s Development and Marketing team.
Internship Description:
The goal of the internship is to provide a PR or Advertising student with the opportunity to gain real world experience helping SNJ with daily and long term development and marketing goals. This is a tremendous opportunity for a student to jump into a fast moving and rapidly expanding company while learning and perfecting skills such as website functionality and design, data base systems, implementation and creation of yearlong Integrated Marketing Communication plans and many other day to day internal development tasks.
 
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the following characteristics/skill set:
-          Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-          Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
-          Self-starter who can work independently and as a productive member of a team
-          Strong design skills preferred
-          Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office suites

-          Passionate and motivated individual who is ready to jump in and gain rapid and invaluable experience in the field.
